North Central Elementary Teacher Twanda Geiger-Mickle was named 2024 Kershaw County School District (KCSD) Teacher of the Year at a celebration tonight, while North Central Middle teacher Jodie Kahler was chosen as first alternate.

The South Carolina Office of Adult Education selected Kershaw County Adult Education (KCAE) as the recipient of the 2023 Spearman Innovation Award at the Fall Training and Awards Conference held in Columbia on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Kershaw County Adult Education (KCAE), in partnership with the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), proudly celebrated National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, during the week of September 18-22, 2023. To recognize the accomplishments of its adult education students, Kershaw County Adult Education sponsored several activities.
