Kershaw County Adult Education (KCAE) received multiple state honors at the South Carolina Office of Adult Education’s 2025 Fall Training Institute and Awards Luncheon, held Friday, October 24. The program was recognized for its excellence in advancing adult learning and workforce development across Kershaw County.

North Central Elementary Teacher Twanda Geiger-Mickle was named 2024 Kershaw County School District (KCSD) Teacher of the Year at a celebration tonight, while North Central Middle teacher Jodie Kahler was chosen as first alternate.

The South Carolina Office of Adult Education selected Kershaw County Adult Education (KCAE) as the recipient of the 2023 Spearman Innovation Award at the Fall Training and Awards Conference held in Columbia on Friday, November 10, 2023.

To recognize the accomplishments of its adult education students, Kershaw County Adult Education sponsored several activities.
